Is a close-up of a macro a macro or a close-up?

Don't you hate it when you are shooting with others and they immediately line up and take the same shot you just felt so brilliant for having the insight to spot, compose and take the time to capture just right?
While
Brian was having an inspired moment, and out of spite (not really) I stole his shot before he could even execute it! And I didn't let the fact that he was shooting with the ef 100mm f/2.8 Macro and I was shooting with the ef 15mm f/2.8 macro stop me - I don't need a macro if I'm shooting the view screen of a camera that has a macro!
But now the question. If you look at the date stamp in his shot and mine, and mine is earlier, who can be blamed for stealing the shot?
So
Brian did I steal your shot, or is this a portrait of your camera doing it's thing?
This was actually taken in jest, and was inspired by the shot stealers of the world. Thanks for the inspiration guys! This shot is for you!
